The “Wedding Party, 1971” above, is a mural of a painting that once adorned the side of a building at 154 G.E. Patterson in Memphis, Tennessee.  Originally painted by Carroll Cloar (1913 – 1993) from Earle, Arkansas, Cloar is considered by many to have been a great American master who focused on painting “surreal views of the Southern United States.”
